I have been with New Start for 6 years now. Office staff have been nothing short of excellence. Whenever I have had a question or needed guidance, they have helped within minutes. This is a job where you will feel like you make a difference everyday. Whether you work with one client or several, you are learning from them just as much as they learn from you and will want to strive to help them be the best they can possibly be. As a life skills coach for New Start I work with many different diversity‘s throughout the Sacramento region. My schedule is flexible fun and energetic. As a professional life skills coach we go into the homes of our clients, routinely coaching them on how to live independently. The majority of our clients are high functioning or with moderate disabilities. In any case I was brought into this business to make a difference in my clients life. If that means teaching them to budget their finances, cooking a simple meal, going on walks or holding their hand at a Dr appointment, that’s what I’m here for. That’s what my job means to me, a New Start at a life they can control.
